Stacie Kemp Photography Blog bio picture
  • Welcome

I'm so happy you are here! My name is Stacie Kemp, I'm an Iowa girl who married and uprooted myself and business to Chicago, IL. I love family, friends, food, fashion and capturing life's moments involving all of the above!

My love affair with photography began in college. Do you know that magical feeling you get when you wake up Christmas morning? That's the feeling I get every time I photograph, every time I capture the essence of someone's personality, the love between couples and families, the awe and wonder of a child. I'm passionate about my art and about capturing every fun, exciting, silly, fashionable, quiet, romantic and crazy moment of life.

If you'd like to schedule a session, I'd love to hear from you! I strive to make every session unique and special to you. Please contact me at 115,116,97,99,105,101,107,101,109,112,112,104,111,116,111,103,114,97,112,104,121,64,103,109,97,105,108,46,99,111,109,46.moc.liamg@yhpargotohppmekeicats

Annalisa, Chicago Senior Photographer

Annalisa was such a blast to work with!! She was up for anything and we literally just walked around Chicago finding good locations to photograph at. She came from quite a ways away to get these photographs and it rained all morning! We lucked out because the sun popped out for just a few short hours during our shoot. It was still very windy and cold but she did an awesome job!

My favorite photo of the day, gorgeous!!

Stunning!!

Love Affair: Haylee Part 1

Haylee is a model I photographed at Love Affair Workshop. We had the best time wandering around downtown Dallas and found some pretty cool places to photograph. If you’ve seen the spinnoff of Project Runaway, “On the Road with Austin & Santino,” Haylee was on Episode 5. The dress they designed for her was amazing!! Unfortunately we didn’t get to photograph her in that dress but she totally rocked this 80’s inspired look. More to come soon!

Wine & Cheese Night

This past weekend we decided to host a wine and cheese party! We picked 14 different cheeses and had everyone bring a bottle of wine or snack food. The faves of the night were Delicia de Bourgogne, Fontina Val d’Aosta, Comte and Brunkow’s Baked Cheese. I loved dipping Parmigiano Reggiano in honey, delicious!

Josef - These photos look awesome. I feel like I’m looking at the StL Sauce (food) magazine. You know my love affair with food is only rivaled with incredible images of food. Well done, Mrs. Kemp.
