  • Welcome

I'm so happy you are here! My name is Stacie Kemp, I'm an Iowa girl who married and uprooted myself and business to Chicago, IL. I love family, friends, food, fashion and capturing life's moments involving all of the above!

My love affair with photography began in college. Do you know that magical feeling you get when you wake up Christmas morning? That's the feeling I get every time I photograph, every time I capture the essence of someone's personality, the love between couples and families, the awe and wonder of a child. I'm passionate about my art and about capturing every fun, exciting, silly, fashionable, quiet, romantic and crazy moment of life.

If you'd like to schedule a session, I'd love to hear from you! I strive to make every session unique and special to you. Please contact me at 115,116,97,99,105,101,107,101,109,112,112,104,111,116,111,103,114,97,112,104,121,64,103,109,97,105,108,46,99,111,109,46.moc.liamg@yhpargotohppmekeicats

Warth Family; Iowa City and Chicago Family Portrait Photographer

I probably say this about every session but it’s so true, I’m SUPER excited to share this cute little family portrait session! Some families just exude an air of happiness and fun and love about them and the Warth family is definitely one of those families. Their little guy just LOVED smiling for the camera and playing and even being smothered with love from his parents! This is also probably one of the most patient families I’ve ever worked with – we started planning their session in Iowa City back in December and after many failed attempts at scheduling, we finally got the day nailed down only to have a huge snowstorm hit the day before!! Luckily my husband and I were still able to make it in and I’m extremely glad it worked out. I’ve been super anxious for the Warth family to see their portraits and the day has finally come. Enjoy your portraits Warth family and happy Friday everyone!!

Wright Family; Chicago Newborn Portrait Photographer

Newborns are SOO, soo precious and I love when I get a chance to capture these tiny moments in time. The Wright’s are so in love with their new little guy and it was such a pleasure to photograph them! My absolute favorite portrait is his tiny little feet in Dad’s hands, it’s capturing moments like that that make me feel SO blessed to be a photographer.

Lincoln Park Family Portraits; Chicago Family Portrait Photographer

There are a few sessions from the end of year last year that I didn’t get a chance to post and today seems as good a day as any to post them!! I have to say, this mini-session was a blast! I LOVE the pictures with their adorable two dogs, Memphis and Presley (how cute!). It’s also adorable that they all seem to match too. Fall is such a pretty time of year and these portraits definitely show off all the pretty colors. Enjoy!

Amy; Chicago Senior Portrait Photographer

Amy is probably the most brave person I’ve ever photographed!! You wouldn’t know it from the portraits but it was in the low 30’s the day we took these portraits! She came all the way from Mississippi where I imagine it’s considerably warmer than here so props for putting up with our cold Chicago weather to get some amazing portraits.

Amy’s family came with her the day of her session and they were just the BEST. After our session they had plans to go shopping which I think is the best way to wrap up a session in downtown Chicago!

America; Chicago Senior Portrait Photographer

I’m excited to share America’s senior portraits! We instantly became friends and she even commented on how I was fun to be around which was SO sweet. I truly strive to make each session a blast and can think of no higher compliment! She braved the cold and went along with me to some really great spots so I’m anxious to share what we captured. Chicago really has the best spots.

America, it was so awesome to meet you, I hope you love your portraits!
