I absolutely LOVE photographing high school seniors!! They are so much fun to work with and I adore their fun sense of fashion so I was incredibly excited that Mandi and her Mom came from Indiana to have her portraits taken downtown. Mandi loves Chicago and wanted to have portraits taken at Wrigley field and by the beach. We wandered around Wrigley and founds some awesome spots under the El for a few urban portraits. After that, we wrapped up by the harbor as the sun was setting. The sunset is absolutely gorgeous by the lake!! Note to self: must watch sunset by lake on date night.
What I love about Mandi is that she made her senior portrait session a whole family event! Her Mom and friends came to support her and despite a few difficulties getting back to Indiana that night, they made the day a fun event! You can tell family, friends and laughter are important to her and I feel so lucky to get to meet and photograph people who are as beautiful, both inside and out, as she is. Early Congrats Mandi, I can’t wait to hear what’s in store next!
