  • Welcome

I'm so happy you are here! My name is Stacie Kemp, I'm an Iowa girl who married and uprooted myself and business to Chicago, IL. I love family, friends, food, fashion and capturing life's moments involving all of the above!

My love affair with photography began in college. Do you know that magical feeling you get when you wake up Christmas morning? That's the feeling I get every time I photograph, every time I capture the essence of someone's personality, the love between couples and families, the awe and wonder of a child. I'm passionate about my art and about capturing every fun, exciting, silly, fashionable, quiet, romantic and crazy moment of life.

If you'd like to schedule a session, I'd love to hear from you! I strive to make every session unique and special to you. Please contact me at 115,116,97,99,105,101,107,101,109,112,112,104,111,116,111,103,114,97,112,104,121,64,103,109,97,105,108,46,99,111,109,46.moc.liamg@yhpargotohppmekeicats

Lounny; Chicago Senior Portrait Photographer

Lounny and Jessiah drove to Chicago to have their senior portraits taken on the same day and I’m excited to share Louuny’s Portraits!! I think it’s great she made Minny Mouse ears (the night before her session I might add!) to use for a few portraits. Love that! She also asked if we could take some portraits in a Cafe. I searched the city for the perfect spot and absolutely think we found it! I think it’s great we captured her love of coffee and the portraits at Milk and Honey turned out to be some of my FAVORITE portraits from her session. To wrap things up, we went by the shore to capture some of the amazing Chicago Skyline portraits by the lake. You wouldn’t know from the pictures but it was freezing and I’m so glad Lounny and Jessiah braved the cold because we ended up with some stunning portraits.

Lounny and Jessiah, thank you for choosing me to be your photographer and Enjoy!

Jessiah; Chicago Senior Portrait Photographer

Jessiah and Lounny traveled to Chicago together to have their senior portraits taken on the same day!! I had a blast working with them – coordinating their looks and locations and just knew it was going to be an amazing shoot. We started at some urban locations in Wicker Park. Despite that it was pretty darn cold, Jessiah broke out a few dance moves which was pretty awesome to see! We wandered around and then wrapped up ther sessions by the lake. I couldn’t have hand picked better seniors to work with. They are TRULY genuine and nice and I loved how much fun they had seeing Chicago and walking around the city with me. I know they will accomplish amazing things and have been anxious for them to see their portraits!

Jessiah and Lounny, thank you for choosing me to be your photographer and Enjoy!

Jael; Chicago Portrait Photographer

Jael is graduating college!! I think it’s SO great she wanted senior pictures to commemorate and use for Graduation announcements. Her session came together VERY quickly and ended up being cold, rainy and gloomy however we made it work and had a blast! Luckily we were able to hop around the corner and take a few indoor portraits at Lightology to get out of the cold and warm up. Love that store! For portraits by the El, Jael brought rainboots and an umbrella which turned out adorably if I don’t say so myself!

Congratulations on graduating college Jael, it was great working and laughing with you throughout your session and can’t wait to hear what’s in store next. Enjoy!

Madison; Chicago and Naperville Senior Portrait Photographer

Madison knew she wanted to take some indoor portraits for her session so I scoured the city for the perfect spots and found not one, but two amazing locations!! First, we kicked off at Architectural Artifacts in Ravenswood which has 80,000 square feet filled with all kinds of unique and beautiful architectural pieces. I LOVE the eclectic look and gorgeous stain glass windows we found. Her outfit and tulle skirt was just icing on the cake making this a truly fun, romantic and unique photo shoot. I love making seniors visions come to life! Next we went to Lightology where we photographed in the uber modern Morpheus room (swoon). It’s such a great spot and I’m slightly obsessed with those amazing shoes she wore! (Which by the way – she is a pro at walking in).

For Madison’s next session we are going to some pretty amazing spots in the city – one we had to get special permission for and I can’t hardly wait! I’m so happy she booked two sessions, she has such a pleasant disposition and has just been absolutely wonderful to work with. Her Mom came with her on her shoot and they really are just the nicest. (Special thanks to Madison’s mother for helping hold lights and reflectors!)

Enjoy!!

Madison got her hair and makeup done for this shoot at Salon Buzz and Nordstrom.
